The only family locator and Tesla management app with advanced security protocols.
Our Security Promises to You

All location data, software and customer data is stored securely on AWS (Amazon Web Services) servers.
The MotorMouth phone app allows you to easily turn location sharing on or off. When location sharing is off, you have complete privacy. No data is ever sent to our servers, period. Only share when you want to.
We do not use or store any passwords, period. We use a third party, the industry leading Auth0 servers, for login and identity management purposes. A 6-digit code is sent to your phone for all login purposes.
We NEVER ask for or store your Tesla password. We redirect our customers to the official Tesla website for permission to link to the vehicle. You should never give anyone your Tesla password, except Tesla.
Your Alexa device is typically secured in your home environment, vehicle, or on your phone, so unauthorized people can’t use MotorMouth.
As additional security, we use Alexa voice recognition to make unauthorized access more difficult. We strongly encourage users to enable “Voice ID” on their Alexa devices.
You can prohibit selected family members (e.g. children) from accessing all Tesla controls.
Since we provide family, vehicle and trip monitoring, we must keep the current location and trip details of users and vehicles for a short period of time. To protect our users, we store this information on a secure Amazon AWS server.
The last known location for all people and vehicles is always stored on our secure server for customer convenience in case of phone loss, battery failure, emergency or vehicle accident.
Notes:
We don’t associate people and vehicle locations with real names on our server, which provides an additional layer of security. We use an encrypted file to store this identifying information.
The MotorMouth phone app has a setting that allows you to completely turn off location sharing. This prevents any updates to our server with your phone location.
For convenience, we allow users to associate addresses with favorite names. This address data is stored on secure AWS servers.
We allow you to opt out of this at any time. See our privacy policy for more information.
We store your name, email and phone number on AWS secure servers. We will occasionally use these to communicate with you regarding product updates, product problems, account problems, product support, and product offerings.
We use the industry leading and secure payment system Stripe for all payment methods. We do not store any payment or credit card information on our own servers.
We use cookies and similar technologies to improve the user experience by saving settings between web, Alexa and phone sessions (the screen you were on, the zoom level, the specific user, etc.).
We use Google Analytics and similar technologies to determine the effectiveness of our advertising. (e.g. How many people clicked on a particular ad and how many of those people purchased a subscription.)
